Our debut collection is a partnership with the Porgai Artisan Association, and for us, there was no more meaningful place to begin.

Co-founded by Dr. Lalitha Regi, Porgai is more than embroidery—it is a living archive of Lambadi heritage, and a model for sustaining the social, physical, and mental wellbeing of the women who carry it forward. Located in the Sittlingi Valley of Tamil Nadu, this all-women artisan group safeguards a tradition nearly lost.

Lambadi embroidery—once held in the memory of just two local women, each taught by their grandmothers—was revived through the founding of Porgai. What began as an effort to nurture community health became a movement to restore ancestral knowledge, stitch by stitch.

This collection honours that lineage.
Each piece features hand-stitched motifs passed down through generations, celebrating the nomadic spirit of the Lambadi people. With timeless forms designed to elevate the everyday, these garments are a quiet form of beauty—practical, soulful, and enduring.

In keeping with our values, every piece is made using:

• Natural fibres only – no synthetics

• Handloom fabrics sourced from ethical social enterprises

• Non-toxic, low-impact dyes and natural dyes where possible
