Made from Khadi cotton, a hand-spun and handwoven fabric that is known for its breathability, strength and subtle irregularities. It embodies sustainable textile craftsmanship and a low impact production process. We take care to source quality fabrics that are healthier for the environment, the worker, and the wearer are our priority.

The Khadi cotton undergoes an AZO-free dyeing process. AZO-free dyes are free from harmful synthetic compounds, ensuring the fabric is gentle on the skin and safer for the environment.

100% of our CMT process was completed by Vanavil Association. Vanavil trained and developed the skills of the local tribal community. The process includes pattern cutting, assembling, and hand-finishing details; each stage carried out with a commitment to skill-building, empowerment, and environmental mindfulness.
Using solar-powered sewing machines and equipment, the team ensures each garment is finished with precision and care.

Each Leni is accompanied by deckle-edge archival cotton rag papertags. Made from 100% recycled cotton off-cuts, the paper is acid-free, tree-free, and hand-lifted sheet by sheet before being pressed and sun-dried. Its soft texture, feathery edges, and natural variations reflect the slow craft of its making. Water used in production is drawn and treated onsite.

Azo-free dyed fabrics are prone to bleeding and fading if laundered incorrectly.
Wash gently and this will fabric will age gracefully:
Wash seperately for the first few washes.
Cold gentle machine wash or handwash only with mild pH-nuetral detergent.
Do not soak.
Warm iron only.
Dry in shade.
This garment should not have prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or any bright light.
Expect some light gradual fading slowly over time, a natural process of gently dyed products.
