Made from a blend of handspun, handwoven khadi cotton and Matka peace silk. Handspun yarns create subtle irregularities and a unique textural beauty. The cotton is naturally strong and softens gracefully with wear. Matka silk, spun from broken cocoons in a cruelty-free process, adds gentle irregularities and a soft, understated lustre. We take care to source quality fabrics made with low-impact processes. Fabrics that are healthier for the environment, the worker, and the wearer are our priority.

100% of our CMT process was completed by Vanavil Association. Vanavil trained and developed the skills of the local tribal community. The process includes pattern cutting, assembling, and hand-finishing details; each stage carried out with a commitment to skill-building, empowerment, and environmental mindfulness.
Using solar-powered sewing machines and equipment, the team ensures each garment is finished with precision and care.

Each piece is accompanied by deckle-edge archival cotton rag papertags. Made from 100% recycled cotton off-cuts, the paper is acid-free, tree-free, and hand-lifted sheet by sheet before being pressed and sun-dried. Its soft texture, feathery edges, and natural variations reflect the slow craft of its making. Water used in production is drawn and treated onsite.

Wash gently and this will fabric will age gracefully:
Wash seperately for the first few washes.
Handwash only with mild pH-nuetral detergent.
Do not soak.
Delicate iron only.
Dry flat in shade.
Dry clean ok.
This garment should not have prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or any bright light.
Expect some light gradual fading slowly over time, a natural process of gently dyed products.
