CMT

CMT, or Cut, Make, Trim, refers to the full spectrum of garment construction. The process begins with patternmaking and sampling, where designs are developed and adjusted for fit, style, and proportion. Once finalised, the design is graded into sizes, and fabrics are cut in bulk according to these patterns.

The final step involves sewing the pieces together, adding buttons, trims, and finishes, and ensuring each garment meets the intended quality and detail. CMT captures the entire journey from raw fabric to finished garment, reflecting both technical precision and the care involved in bringing a design to life.

Nüwa Mano collaborates with Vanavil, an association that trains and empowers local tribal women in the complete CMT process.
